The book “Rework” is one of the business books. This book good for beginners who want know about basics of business. This book works on strategy of “you need less than you think.” It means What you really need to do is stop talking and start working.

Author of rework says 5 things for those who starting business first time.

“If you’re going to do something, do something that matters.”


It means that if you want to do business or work which make a change in the world, then only you can do a meaning ful business. It means you are a part of something important.


“Stop putting down your self”

Many people feel shame and insecure thinking about small business. For that type of people author said ” Anyone who runs a business that’s sustainable and profitable weather it is big or small, should be proud.”

“Planning is guessing”

When you are planning for long term it means you are just guessing not doing planning. You have to plan but first short term.
That’s why author said ” Give up on the guess work. Decide what you are going to do this week not this year.”

But we have to plan because without plan success road may seem scary. Also don’t follow blindly a plan which have not any relation with reality.

“Learning from mistakes is overrated”

Here author want say that learning from mistakes is good thing but don’t do mistakes blindly. Just try to do less mistakes.

“Small is not just a stepping – stone. small is a great destination in itself.”

Small success is not a bad infact we have to avoid huge growth because it spurts too. They can cause you to skip right over your appropriate size.
So grow slow and observe things that how it’s working. It helps in your business to grow faster.
